Nest of Awareness is a black line print on a white 6’ x 5’ fleece blanket. The lines on the blanket are digital tracings of my son’s blanket over the span of 100 nights. 100 drawings were layered in a variety of sizes. When the user interacts with the blanket, they create new wrinkles and creases. These variations alter the initial line work and create a new texture and shape. By doing so, there becomes a cycle of recreating the initial source of the imagery. The technique is the same, yet the outcome is always different.
